"I agree that it is Kinkakuji although there was once a suggestion it could have been Ginkakuji. It's actually listed under Kobe because that is where the ship docked. "

"Are you sure it is in Kobe?  I think it is Kinkakuji (金閣寺) temple in Kyoto. Unfortuntely original temple burned down though."
